Henning Kjærnulf Razorblade Dining Chairs

Wonderful set of 6 vintage sculptural dining room chairs (Model 54) designed by Henning Kjærnulf for Nyrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark in the 1960s. Solid oak frames with Medium Grey Sheepskin seats. The solid oak frames are sturdy, cleaned, refinished and in very good condition with a beautiful and warm wood grain and color. The seats are reupholstered with Sheepskin including new foam. The inside of the backrests have a striking and unique silhouette in the shape of a razorblade. The overall impression of this set of four chairs is really good and will fit well with many types of interior styles with a mix of Art Deco, Scandinavian Modern, Brutalism and Modernism.
